Meet Your Vacation Specialists

Esther Larson was meant to be a travel specialist from birth! The daughter of an Army hospital administrator, she was born in France, graduated from high school in Wurzburg, Germany, and in-between lived all over the US and the world! During a 30-year career in sales to the federal government, she continued to travel personally and professionally. Esther became a Dream Vacations franchise owner in 2012, and her retirement "hobby" quickly became her passion. She is ranked in the top 3% of all franchise owners and has been awarded with the Circle of Excellence. Esther provides her clients with expert advice based on her own experiences and extensive industry knowledge, and delivers the highest level of personal service to ensure the best vacation you can find! She is a Master Cruise Counsellor (MCC) as certified by the Cruise Line Industry Association.
 
Tom Larson shares a similar background with Esther. Born in Wisconsin, he began his world-wide travel at the age of four when his father was stationed in the Philippines as part of the State Department's foreign aid mission. Before graduating from college, he had lived in or traveled to Manila, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Hawaii, and Guam. During his engineering career, Tom's travels for work and vacations included Saudi Arabia, Iceland, the Caribbean, Mexico, England and France. He retired in 2014 and joined Esther as a Dream Vacations franchise co-owner. Together, they have visited all 7 continents and over 100 countries with a long bucket list remaining! They love to travel with friends and family.  
 
Bob Markle joined World to Sea in 2022 after working in the student travel market for 38 years, specializing in group travel for high school and college bands, choirs, and orchestras. Bob was drafted into the Army and became the Drum Major of The Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps, stationed in Ft. Myers, VA. Upon completion of his 3 years in the Army, he completed his education with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and taught high school band in Concord, North Carolina for 3 years before going into the group travel market.  During his career in the group travel business, he became active in the Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA) and served 4 years on the Board of Directors. Bob's travel experiences help him provide expert advice and personal service to make your dream vacations come true.
 
Erica Larson joined World to Sea in 2026, making the franchise a family business! With parents like Esther and Tom, Erica was introduced to travel at a young age, and has been happily cruising since the age of 8. She earned her SCUBA certification in her preteens, inspiring a lifelong love of the ocean and everything that lives in it. The nerd of the family, she is a scientist at heart, with her travel experience including school trips to London and research centers in the Bahamas. Erica is a seasoned Caribbean traveller, but her trip to Alaska remains the highlight of her travel career. After a lifetime living on the east coast, she has recently moved to Colorado, trading in warm beaches and big cities to experience the more natural beauty of the mountains and plains. Erica is ready to help you plan the perfect experience for your family, inspired by her enthusiasm for nature, culture, and education.
